THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Main Text: Hebrews 9:22,12
"And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."
The Blood is for the atonement of sin. Romans 5 says "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:... Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come".

God's Solution
He had to intervene so that man can attain perfection through the love Christ. Christ came to die once and for all to cleans us and draw us near to god.

Sanctification
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. (Hebrews 13:12). This occurs the moment we become born again; we instantly become saints. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:11).

Justification
Free from the penalty of sin which is death by grace through the blood of Jesus. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.(Romans 5:9). If we backslide and realise our err and go back to the blood, it cleanse you from all your sins because His death is once and for all.

Condition
The night that Christ died on the cross the veil in the temple tore and that made it accessible for us all. If not for His death we wouldn't be here now. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,(Hebrews10:19). As we are bold to enter the Holiest by virtue of the blood whhich has mad it possible by consecrating us. We should draw near with a true heart with the assurance of faith, having our bodies washed.

Lord's Supper
Celebration of the death of Christ; which is to remember His death for us and confirm our fellowship with Him and to partake in sharing the message of His return.
