WHAT WIVES EXPECT FROM HUSBANDS

Marriage like a chairs needs four legs to stand. They are:

  • Love & Submission
  • Faithfulness
  • Commitment
  • Communication
"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;" (Ephesians 5:25)

How can your wife know you love her? Sometimes men think it's only women who needs to submit: If  you love someone , you will submit to her. When you live at peace with your wife, she will know you love her. Don't suppress your wife to the extent that they begin to fear you.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18)

Fear does not make love whole. Love should eliminate all fear. Men, please live at peace with your wives and love them as yourself. Love does not hurt its neighbour. If you love someone, you avoid disgracing them.
Always remember the vowels you made.

Faithfulness: We have to be faithful to God and to our spouses. If you have genuine love for you spouse you should be faithful.

Commitment: Be committed to your wife.

Communication: Talk to you wife, reason with her and your marriage will stand.
