FAITH WITHOUT DOUBT CAN DO WONDERS

Faith is important in every Christian life; the bible says in Hebrews chapter 11:6 that;

 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for him that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV)

God is Spirit and cannot be seen physically but to know Him, he can be found in His word, every word that is spoken by God in the Holy Bible has life and works for those who believe it.

A Christian without faith must not think that he or she will receive anything good from God

Matthew 14: 22-32 talk about a man who brought his son to the disciples of Jesus to be heal, but they failed to heal the boy, when Jesus heard the news he said to his disciple;

"O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you. Jesus was expecting his disciple to heal the boy but because of their unbelief they couldn’t.

  James chapter 2 verses 26 also talk about faith; for just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

Peter exercised his strong faith when he saw Jesus walking on the sea, he asked Jesus to command him also to walk on the sea as Jesus did, Jesus asked him to come to Him and he did walk on the sea just like Jesus, but unfortunate thing happened he became threatening by wind and the rough of the sea, immediately all the faith he had left him and he began to sink.

Hebrews chapter 13 verse 8 says; Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. The working power of our Lord Jesus Christ is still at work for those believe Him as He said ‘’all things are possible to those who believes.

Joshua believed God and kept His commandment and he said to the children of Israel in chapter 3 verses 5 consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you. He said this out of faith and indeed God did wonders among them, river Jordan split into two when the priest carried the ark of covenant entered the river and children of Israel crossed on dry ground until the entire nation had finished crossing the Jordan. 

The walls of Jericho brought down by the sound of trumpet and a shout.

 God saved us to make soldiers out of us and move us forward by faith to claim our rich inheritance in Jesus Christ.

There is nothing impossible before God, John chapter 11 verses 39 and 40; Martha didn’t believe that Jesus can raise Lazarus because he had been in the tomb for four day and there will be a stench.

But Jesus proved to her and said; whoever believes him will surely see the glory of God and Lazarus came back to life again.

I pray that you trust God and have faith in Him and also obey His commandment and it shall be well with you as Joshua did.
