God wanted to show Elisha what HE is is going to do in his life so HE opened his eyes and he saw. When the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal. Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel. (2 Kings 2:1,2) Elisha clinged onto Elijah and advanced to Bethel with him. Wherever you have gotten to in life, you still can go further, for there is something good ahead.
